A Note To The Family! A New Reality For Your New Season!!!

Family, I apologize in advance for the length of this note, but I must give it as I received it in my spirit! I pray and believe that this is going to be a doorway into a new season/"the kingdom coming" for and through many of us on this journey.

What does it mean to believe beyond doubt? What does it look like to have an all consuming belief that blankets and permeates every aspect of what you know to be reality. I believe it is our ability to believe something fully even if it never comes to pass or is fulfilled before our eyes in the way that we've seen it.

To believe in this way leaves us no choice but to live in a new and different reality. We will LIVE and GROW into that reality and that will be the place where we find the STRENGTH to do the things we never thought we could (wait for a lifetime, swallow our pride, give up everything, etc). In this new reality, we get the strength to stand up to the demons in our lives: fears, egos, habits, perceived limitations. This is how others/"the world" can see the change in us that can only come by way of a radical shift in our lived reality. We live by what we see in the reality that has been shaped soley by what we believe!!!

For example, if we believe that God has gifted and called us to a life in the arts, are we allowing ourselves to be given FULLY to the reality that is shaped by that belief? The reality shaped by that belief never entertains, personalizes, or internalizes a no or a closed door. Thereby, no suffering or plight or voice or hurt or pain or rejection or death (literal or figurative) can replace the inner joy that exists in this new reality which daily renews your mind and spirit. That's how you keep going!

Using Morpheus and the Matrix as an example, Morpheus believed Neo was the one and that he would save Zion in accordance to the way that he believed. He dedicated his entire life and being to living out this belief. It gave him strength to stand up to others who didn't believe and press on when all hell broke out on different fronts in his life. However, he had to be told by Neo that the "prophecy" that he had believed with his entire being was wrong. It would seem on the surface that he had lived and sacrificed his life all for nothing. But in doing so, Neo found himself in a place of growth and destiny which called him to participate in the saving of Zion (as Morpheus believed but in a totally different way). Maybe it was Morpheus' belief beyond doubt that still ushered in the working of God's kingdom for Zion even though the prophecy that drove his belief was wrong!

Can the belief that leads us to do something trump the actual outcome of the action? Could it be that the fruit of my belief beyond doubt is solely to unleash the belief beyond doubt in someone else? Do we focus too much on the outcomes of actions rather than focus on acting from a place of belief beyond doubt? If we get to this place, we will find ourselves doing things without regard to how it may be received by others. We will seek to forgive and reconcile and love even when it is not returned...because we are not focused on the outcome, but rather acting out of total belief and encouraged by the new reality that guides US/ME/ONESELF!!!!! If it is not returned or welcomed, it says more about the other person(s) or situation rather than you. Your new reality doesn't entertain the shortcomings or imperfections of others as your own; rather it loves, hopes, and believes in spite of it all!

My brother and my sister, I pray that we all may claim that place of BELIEF BEYOND DOUBT!!! Once we do that, we don't have to wait for the hope of a new season in our life...for we will be intentionally walking into a new season everyday by virtue of our new realities. Where do you believe beyond doubt in your life? Your new season is waiting and the ripples of your belief beyond doubt has a role to play in the kingdom of God being made manifest in the world...will you finally die to self and walk?
